FAQ

Questions about
this program.

Background, intensity, activity safety, credits, fees and what to bring.

Do I need a sports or physiotherapy background?
No formal background is required. Most students come from physiotherapy, sports science or related fields, but the program is open to anyone fit and curious. Module five even teaches Bahasa Indonesia from scratch.
How intensive is it really?
It is a full semester. Campus lectures on Monday and Tuesday, Water Sports every Wednesday, excursions and workshops on Thursday, and Friday through Sunday free. A two-week break sits in the middle, with exams in the final week.
Is it safe to surf, dive and raft as a beginner?
Yes. Every water activity runs with certified local instructors and full safety briefings. You start with the fundamentals, and the scuba day is a supervised taster with no licence needed. An optional Open Water course is available at your own cost.
Will my home university accept the 30 ECTS?
The programme documents 30 ECTS. About 15 US credits is a rough workload comparison, not a recognition guarantee. Your home institution alone decides whether and how the credits count, so confirm this with your registrar before applying. We provide the academic documentation for that review.
What is included in the fee?
Tuition, all workshops and excursions, the E30 student visa, a full-semester gym membership, airport pickup, orientation week and student support. Flights, accommodation and food are extra.
What should I bring?
Swimwear, athletic wear and a laptop. Specialist water sports equipment is provided on the day. A full pre-arrival kit list is sent once you confirm.
